Nicholas Burnham
DESIGN PRINCIPAL – SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Whilst Nicholas’ background is originally in product, furniture and luminaire design, he spent 3 years at a large award winning London based Architectural Practice as an Associate assisting in visual planning and coordination of material finishes, services, new technologies and lighting. Since returning to Australia he has spent 9 years as a dedicated lighting designer and project coordinator as part of the NDYLIGHT team in Melbourne.
Nicholas has consulted on a range of projects throughout Europe, Asia and now Australia and has been involved in the development of lighting systems, custom luminaire design, new technologies, architectural integration and lighting control design with an emphasis on innovation and green standards. Nicholas is able to offer clients an innovative interpretation in the use of light as both a functional and an artistic medium.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Design – Industrial Design (Distinction)
- Graduate Diploma of Electrical Engineering (Lighting)
