NDY’s innovative design solutions win top Defence housing job

Norman Disney & Young’s (NDY) reputation for innovative design solutions and its successful management of major projects has landed the leading engineering consultancy the biggest Australian Defence Force accommodation job in Australia, the Phase 2 Single Living Environment and Accommodation Precinct (LEAP 2) Project.
As part of a major overhaul of the South Australian Youth Justice System, a new $70M, 60-bed secure Youth Training Centre is being built on a new site at Goldsborough Road, Cavan, South Australia.
Norman Disney & Young (NDY) has collaborated with Perumal Pedavoli Architects in-conjunction with Grieve Gillet Architects to design a new era for youth justice in South Australia.
Norman Disney & Young’s 275 George Street project has been awarded a 5 star Green Star – Office ‘As Built’ v2 rating by the Green Building Council of Australia. The ‘A Grade’ commercial office building in Brisbane’s central business district had earlier been awarded a 5 star ‘Design’ rating.
