NDYLIGHT was involved in both the lighting to the residences themselves as well as the public area lighting to the main foyer, the pool deck, theatrette and gymnasium.
The front of house spaces as part of the Traders Hotel atop the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) were designed by NDYLIGHT in conjunction with the team from BC&A to deliver a high end hotel experience to those staying at the facility.
As part of the overall hotel design, NDYLIGHT worked very closely with the BC&A and Shangri-La design teams on the guest room design.
Separate to the main body of the Hotel, NDYLIGHT was engaged to work with the design team on the feature Skybar & pool space at the top of the hotel.
Working closely with the interior designers NDYLIGHT developed the lighting concepts for the hotel entrance, reception, the gallery, Gordon Ramsay’s first restaurant in France, a ball room and the meeting spaces.
The city block contains multiple functions including a hotel complex comprising 350 rooms and 120 serviced apartments together with 300 residential apartments for resale.
