The industry is still in its formative stages of data transfer between the leading building simulation software vendors. Research into existing industry software tools shows that vendors Autodesk, Graphisoft and Microstation, believe open source standards such as aecXML and IFC's hold the best hope for seamless data transfer for the Construction industries.
